Biocyclic Vegan Certification FAQs
What does “Biocyclic Vegan” certification mean?
Biocyclic Vegan certification is an internationally recognized standard for plant-based organic farming. It means we grow everything without any animal inputs (like manure, blood, or bone meal) and never use synthetic chemicals. Our soil is nourished with plant-based compost, cover crops, and natural minerals—supporting healthy ecosystems, biodiversity, and truly ethical food.
Why is Little Logan’s Farm’s certification significant?
We’re proud to be the first Biocyclic Vegan certified farm in the United States! This certification is a promise: everything we grow is 100% plant-based, chemical-free, and produced with full transparency. We’re pioneering a new standard for compassionate, sustainable agriculture and showing what’s possible for the future of food.
How do you farm without animal inputs?
We use plant-based compost, green manures, cover crops, crop rotation, and natural minerals to build soil health. No animal products or by-products ever touch our fields. Our approach follows the Biocyclic Vegan standards, ensuring vibrant soil and nutrient-dense crops—grown the way nature intended.
How is Biocyclic Vegan different from organic farming?
Both avoid synthetic chemicals, but organic farms can still use animal-based fertilizers. Biocyclic Vegan farming goes further: it excludes all animal inputs and requires a closed-loop, plant-powered system. Our farm is free of animal agriculture, making our produce uniquely ethical and sustainable.
What does this mean for my food?
You get produce that’s not just organic, but also grown with complete transparency and compassion. Our Biocyclic Vegan certification ensures your food is free from animal exploitation and synthetic chemicals—grown in a way that’s good for you, the planet, and our community.
How do you maintain your certification?
We undergo regular inspections and keep detailed records of every step in our farming process. Our certification requires strict adherence to Biocyclic Vegan standards, so you can trust that our commitment to ethical, plant-based farming is ongoing and verified.
Can I visit the farm or try your produce?
